BONA !!!!! DIADA DE SANT JORDI
I hope you are the lucky ones who celebrate Sant Jordi with a book and a rose. This is for me one of the finest traditions of a child who participated. Gone are the years when up at the bank gave you a book at this time ... oh, those were. As a good reader and Catalan to more INRI, struggling writer today I celebrated the day of the book as it deserves. This morning when we wake up in our dining room table in front of the fireplace, our senyera covered with books and roses. You can imagine the enthusiasm that has made us all, especially the smallish than four years and is becoming aware of everything. Books, pink and bookmarks for the day.
Then we hung our senyera on the balcony and we went to the Plaça de les Monges Torredembarra where we had an appointment with the guys at Ona La Torre. I am very happy that they remember me when it comes Sant Jordi. I love being associated with the books, not in vain, I always go with one hand. And after talking about books with Rachel, Sonia and George, we built the camp and we went to Tarragona to eat some sandwiches and walk along the Rambla to soak up the festive atmosphere. A few days Catalunya looks as pretty as on April 23 when its streets and squares are filled with books and roses. Long live Sant Jordi! Long live books!
